"The Many Uses of a Microfiber Towel"

Microfiber towels have a number of uses for a number of reasons. They provide a clean, anti-scratch cleaning rag. Comprised of materials less than 1/100th the size of a human hair, microfiber towels do not shed pieces of the cloth on the surface of what someone is attempting to clean. The absorbency rate is about seven times in liquid what the cleaning rag weighs itself. Since they can be laundered in a washing machine and dryer without deteriorating, these towels can be used over and over again. These specially designed towels can be used for a variety of purposes. Here are just a few.

Computer ScreensThe anti-scratch nature of microfiber towels makes them helpful for cleaning computer screens. They are safe for use on flat screen and laptop surfaces, as well as older monitor surfaces. Use a cleaning solution specially designed for these screens. If one is not available, use just plain distilled water. Tap water may contain tiny granules or chemicals, such as chlorine, that may damage the surface.

Classic CarsWhen a vehicle is at least as old as its owner, the interior and exterior need special care with car wash towels. Paint and chrome pick up the oily residue and dirt from admiring or working hands and can permanently damage the surface. Paint can be washed, dried and waxed with these towels. Chrome, for example, will eventually freckle, bubble and deteriorate when not kept clean. Special cleaning products are available for classic car surfaces. Separate microfiber towels should be used for each different cleaning product and type of surface, such as chrome, vinyl, paint and rubber. The interior can be cleaned and polished using microfiber as well.

Wood FurnitureWood furniture needs special care. Cleaning it may be as simple as using soft, dry, lint-free cloths to remove dust and film. Water and wood don't mix. When a dry cloth is not enough, use cleaning solutions specially made for wooden surfaces. Microfiber will not scratch it, unlike nylon or abrasive sponges.

OfficeOffice furniture should be cleaned weekly. Desks can be cleaned with a damp cloth to remove rings from coffee cups and water glasses. A clean, dry, lint-free cloth will give the work surface a nice shine. Leather and man-made materials can be kept free of germs with a special cleaning product made for chairs and couches.
